In short: Returns carry a 30% restocking fee and need an invoice number; transmissions and engines are final sale. Orders are paid through a PayPal invoice we send after you order, not at checkout.
Returns
All returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee. Please allow 14-21 days for us to process your return. Refunds are credited back to the original purchasing credit card account only.
Transmissions and engines are final sale and cannot be returned.
How to return an item by mail
- Include all original packing materials, manuals, and accessories with the product, along with a copy of your invoice, to avoid extra fees.
- We cannot process any return without an invoice number. If you don't have your invoice number, request a Return Authorization Number from us before sending anything back.
- We recommend shipping returns via UPS Ground or insured USPS so you have proof of delivery, and reusing the original shipping box and packing materials.
- Ship the item to: Hale Marine Parts Company Inc., 13633 Historyland Hwy., Warsaw, VA 22572.
- You're responsible for all return shipping charges.
- Please don't send returns COD. Any COD charges we're stuck with will be subtracted from your refund; if the COD cost is more than the item's value, we'll charge the remaining balance to the original purchasing card.
Ordering & invoices
We don't take payment at checkout on the site. After you place an order, we send you a PayPal invoice covering the order and shipping, and payment happens through that invoice.
