Second generation, 40+ years in the business
Chris has been doing this for 40 years, second generation as a Velvet Drive distributor. On his channel he describes himself as a second-generation transmission specialist with over forty years of experience repairing Velvet Drive, ZF, Paragon and Hurth marine transmissions.
Being a distributor means we buy our parts directly from Velvet Drive. That's what lets us afford to put a new pump on every transmission we build. Most independent shops can't do that, because it's expensive.
